Inspiration Story:  

This piece is the first of a series that's in the works, and is very dear to my heart. 

I loved dreaming it up and creating it. but get  this...

The original wash and partial ink drawing sat patiently waiting for me to finish for about year before I was finally able to go back to it and complete my vision.  

Also, the girl in this image is totally me; carefully floating down to  obvserve a Giant Black Moor gold fish.  I have a fascination with oversized creatures overtaking civilization and well, obviously fish, lol.   

I always knew what I wanted this piece to look like, but just couldn't get past the  initial wash.  It  just shows how worthwhile it can be  to not give up on unfinished pieces. 

 I  filmed the painting of this piece which I will be adding to this website and posting on YouTube soon.  So Stay tuned for the making of video for this handsome fella!
