Inspired by a love of birds. In this case, Barn Swallows. My bird of choice, if ever I was to come back as a bird.

This piece is a 12" x 12" Watercolour and is currently in progress.

Flying fish bursting from the water together. This is a passion project inspired by the energy of many flying fish. Such unusual and boystrous creatures. The top image is a test strip of watercolour, which is slightly the worse for wear. The second image is a test on acrylic. This one will be a super cool piece .

I am delighted to relay that a wise friend who is an admirer of owls has commissioned me to follow this concept to fruition. This will be a Great Horned Owl in full colour carrying a ring of old keys. Pretty stoked about this one! I will be painting two of these and one will be part of a future gallery showing.
